Lacey Forest is ideally located between East Falls Church and Ballston METROs and is surrounded by many older, original homes as well as multi-million dollar new construction.  People have discovered this neighborhood and its convenient location and have fallen in love with its charm. Lacey Forest is a part of the Bluemont Civic Association and is within walking distance to numerous parks and unlimited recreational opportunities as well as Ballston and Westover shopping and dining.

Bluemont enjoys a relative abundance of parks and other open space. Within this small urban neighborhood are Bluemont Junction Park, Fields Park, Lacey Woods Park, half of Bluemont Park, half of Bon Air Park, part of Lubber Run Park, a wetlands preserve known as Beaver Pond, historic Southern- Shreve Cemetery, and Arlington Constitutional Garden and Bicentennial Bell. Passing through the neighborhood are Four Mile Run and Lubber Run, as well as three of the area’s premier bike trails, the Custis Trail, the Washington & Old Dominion Trail, and the Bluemont Junction Trail. Easy access to Downtown DC and all suburban destinations via Washington Boulevard and I-66.
